| Div Com finalizes Beating Retreat arrangements | |  Jammu, January 27, (Scoop News)- Divisional Commissioner Jammu Shantmanu today finalized the arrangements for Beating Retreat function to be held at MA Stadium on January 29 at a meeting here today.
DIG Jammu-Kathua, Shakeel Ahmed Beig, Director Health Services Jammu, Baljeet Singh Pathania, Director School Education, R.A. Inqlabi, ADC Jammu, K.S. Parihar, SSP Traffic Mohan Lal besides senior officers of police, army and civil administration were present in the meeting.
Deliberating upon various issues, the Divisional Commissioner issued specific instructions for smooth conduct of the Beating the Retreat function. He directed Police and Traffic departments to ensure adequate arrangements of security and smooth flow of traffic. The Youth Services and Sports and Education Departments were asked to ensure participation of school children in the ceremony while the Director Health Services was directed to make available ambulance service at the venue.
Accordingly, the Fire and Emergency Services was asked to keep available fire tenders at the venue and Jammu Municipal Corporation to ensure cleanliness at the venue site.
