| Symposium on ‘Role of Youth in Disaster Management’ held | |  Ramnagar, January 31, (Scoop News)-Tehsil Information Center, Ramnagar today organized symposium on the topic “Role of Youth in Disaster Management”.
The symposium was held in the premises of Government High School Sunetar and ten students participated and expressed their views on the topic.
Surinder Kumar a student of 10th class secured first position in the symposium.
In-charge Headmaster Kuldeep Kumar was chief guest on the occasion.
In the contest 2nd position was adjudged by student of 10th class Atul Singh Bandral, while Rakesh Kumar of 9th class clinched third position. Besides, Savita Devi of 10th and Suraj Parkash of 9th class were given consolation prizes.
Appreciating the role of Information Department in organizing the event at school level, the chief guest said that the contest has enabled the students to expose their talent on a common platform, which would help in building self-confidence amongst them, besides helped in disseminating awareness among the public.
During the contest, Rajesh Kumar, Satya Sharma and Ashok Kumar acted as judge.
