| Omar visits residences of Chopra, Anand, Gupta; conveys personal condolences | | Jammu, March 02, (Scoop News)- Working President National Conference Mr Omar Abdullah on Monday visited the residences of former legislator Mr Om Chopra, Harjinder Singh Anand and Mr Sneh Gupta to personally convey his condolences to their families.
He expressed his sympathies with former minister and Congress leader Mr Yogesh Sawhney, MrAnil Chopra and their other family members over the sad demise of Mr Om Chopra, while recalling his contribution in mitigating the sufferings of the people.
At the residence of Mr Anand, the former Chief Minister met the family members and conveyed his condolences. He prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Conveying his condolences to Mr Janak Raj Gupta, former Member Parliament and other members, Mr Abdullah recalled the role of Mr Sneh Gupta in the field of journalism, saying his passing away has caused a void which is hard to fill.
Provincial President National Conference Jammu and MLA Devender Singh Rana accompanied Mr Omar Abdullah.
