| Mufti meets party workers, appreciates their conviction | |
Jammu, March 02, (Scoop News)- Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Monday reiterated the commitment of the coalition government to achieve balanced development of all the three regions of the State.
Mufti was addressing a gathering of over 400 party workers from across the State who called on him here today to felicitate him on assuming office of the Chief Minister.
Mufti said that his government is for welfare of the people and it will dedicate itself entirely to ensure that the governance agenda worked out by the coalition government is implemented on the ground and State is put on the path of development. He said Government aims to bring peace and prosperity to the State, however, in order to bring this change the people of Jammu and Kashmir will need to come together and work shoulder to shoulder. He further said that he would work for hearts and minds to meet.
The Chief Minister said that it will be the priority of his government to work for all round development of the State and to achieve this he would want his Ministers to focus on the problems of people of the entire State. “I have told my Ministers not to remain confined to the cocoon of their constituencies but to work for the entire State”, Mufti said.
He lauded the efforts of his party workers, appreciating their conviction and hard work and thanked them for coming over to meet him from all parts of the State.
