| DDC Budgam reviews Disaster preparedness | | Budgam, March 03, (Scoop News)- The District Development Commissioner, Mir Altaf today convened a meeting to review the preparedness of various departments to deal with natural disasters.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, SE Hydraulic, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Chief Planning Officer, Sub District Magistrates, Chief Medical Officer, Police, Fire Emergency Officers and all Tehsil level officers.
In the meeting DDC stressed upon the officers to prepare an action plan within a week and stressed on better synergy between the line departments to ensure prompt response in wake of a disaster to minimise losses and provide requisite assistance to the people.
