| Principal GMC asks Jr doctors to resume duties | | Jammu, March 03, (Scoop News)-Principal & Dean Government Medical College Jammu Dr. Ghanshyam Dev today convened a meeting of all the Head of Departments and Medical Superintendents of Government Medical College & Associated Hospitals, Jammu to review the situation arisen due to the ongoing indefinite strike by the Junior Residents of GMC & Associated Hospitals, Jammu.
Later a team of Head of Departments and Medical Superintendent visited the casualty ward to review the security arrangements put in place and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements.
Principal informed that the Security system in the other Associated Hospitals like SMGS Hospitals shall also be strengthened on the similar pattern by deploying atleast 10 security guards per shift.
He has asked all the junior resident doctors of GMC to resume their duties immediately failing which administrative action shall follow under conduct rules.
