| DLRC Meeting held at Baramulla | | Baramulla, March 04, (Scoop News)-To review the achievements under Annual District Credit Plan, District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting of District Baramulla was held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Talat Parveez today. Representatives from NABARD and RBI besides Officers from other Line departments were present in the meeting.
During the meeting, the Lead Bank Officer informed that under District Credit Plan 2014-15, the district has recorded an achievement of 28% till 31st December 2014. Lead Bank Manager informed the meeting that 20221 beneficiaries were covered under the District Credit Plan 2014-15 and an amount of Rs. 422.32 Crore was disbursed among them under various schemes, which includes Rs. 145.76 Crores for Agriculture Sector, Rs. 114.77 Crores for Small Enterprises, Rs. 12.24 Crores for Service Sector, Rs. 149.55 Crore in Non-priority Sector.
It was also given out that under Priority sector advances, the District has achieved a growth of 19% on year basis. Under agriculture Sector Advances, 38% growth has been made. Moreover, the Banks under Financial inclusion under FIP-II have covered 618 Villages covering 119623 households.
On the occasion, District Development Commissioner Baramulla advised all the banks and the Sponsoring agencies to work in coordination to achieve the goals and targets of development and progress besides generation of employment for the unemployed youth of the district. He also directed all Line Departments and Banks to organise awareness programmes at Village and Block levels to generate proper awareness among the people.
