Onkar Seth welcomes the announcement of FM
for issuing a white paper on misuse of funds

Jammu, March 31 (Scoop News)-Legal & Legislative Cell of BJP has welcome the announcement of Finance Minister to issue a white paper about the vandalizing the public funds of the state by the previous government and stressed for legal action against those who are involved in misusing the public funds which were meant for development of the state and welfare of the people.
In a statement here today, Onkar Seth a member of National Council of Legal & Legislative Cell & Incharge J&K State of the Cell said that during the past six decade the state of J&K has received over rupees 5 lakh crores for developmental activities and betterment of the common man but it was unfortunate that notwithstanding of such a heavy spending the problem of people have been compounded and there was not a single aspect of life to their in the problems have been solved. Even the several aspect of life wherein the state was self reliance, the situation has worsened that state was depending upon imports like even the sheep, goats, chicken and eggs. The timber was major source of state revenue during Maharaja regime and even after wards for many years but now the situation has reached to a point that even the timber is being imported in the state to meet its need.
Seth further said the fiscal position of state have worsen to a point that state government was not in a position to pay the salaries of its employees from its own income. The pay bill of the staff is touching about Rs. 18000 crore where as the revenue receipt from its own resources are less than about Rs. 12000 crore. He said that the central funds have been doped and the time has come that guilty should be exposed and brought to justice. ...
