Drugs Awareness camp held in Anantnag

Srinagar, April 23 (Scoop News)- Police Drug de-addiction Centre DPL Anantnag organized a Drugs awareness programme at Higher Secondary School Mattan. The awareness camp was attended by large number of students and teachers.
More than 300 students attended the camp and were made aware of the causes and consequences of drug addiction by Councilors and Doctors of Police Drug De-addiction Centre. Students were also made introduced to stress management techniques that could be very beneficial for youth while pursuing their academics. Students showed great interest and were very interactive during the programme which made it a successful programme in every sense.
The awareness programme was attended Mrs. Mudasir Aziz Incharge Drug De-addiction Centre DPL Anantnag, Principal Higher Secondary School Mattan, Counselor Zahid Jeelani from Drug De- addiction Centre Srinagar , teacher staff posted in the Higher Secondary School Mattan and Sh. Showkat Rafiq DySP Anantnag.
Meanwhile, Sh. Abdul Jabbar SSP Anantnag has assured that the drug de-addiction centre DPL Anantnag will be holding such programmes in schools, villages, and far-flung areas of District Anantnag in future.
