YNC to fight anti-youth, anti-people policies of PDP-BJP alliance: Bunty
Jammu, May 06 (Scoop News)- Seeking immediate roll back of the new job policy announced by the PDP-BJP Coalition Government and fast track employment through designated institutions across the State, Youth National Conference Provincial President Jammu Mr Surinder Singh Bunty on Wednesday said the patience of the youth should not be tested.
“We won’t allow recruitment on political grounds or any other consideration, as there is a proper mechanism in place to undertake the selection process constitutionally and as per norms”, Mr Bunty said while addressing the newly nominated office bearers of the Youth National Conference Jammu Province at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan here today.
He asked the government to fill up all the vacancies of recruitment agencies and chalk out a strategy to fill up the vacant posts in a time bound manner. He cautioned against the machinations of the present government in depriving unemployed educated opportunities of getting jobs on the basis. He said any attempts of nepotism or favouritism will be fought tooth and nail.
Urging the youth to play their positive role in politics, Mr Bunty said National Conference has all along opened up vistas of opportunities for youngsters and utilitized their energies for development and reconstruction of the State. He said history stands testimony to the fact that the youth have led the state in most crucial times under the banner of National Conference and steered it to peace, progress and development.
The Provincial Youth National Conference President said that the vision-less, anti youth and anti people policies of the PDP-BJP Government have posed a big challenge to the youth of the State and hoped that this will be met resolutely. He urged the cadre to generate awareness among the people about myopic policies being pursued by the present dispensation so that a befitting political response is given to it. He said that due to divergence of the two coalition partners the administration is suffering from inertia, which has terribly impacted the development and growth in various sectors.
Mr Bunty said Youth National Conference will foil all attempts of dividing the people on the basis of religion or region and shall work for strengthening the single entity of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
Prominent among those present on the occasion include Rajinder Singh Charak, Mohinder Singh Charak, Jatin Bhat, Rohit Bali, Dharampal Kundal, Mohsim Bhat, Aman Cheema, Pankaj Khajuria , imtiyaz Zargar, Rohit Kerni, Rehan Khan, Tanveer Hussian, Ram Parshotam Singh,Govind Ram Chalotra.
