| Ansari reviews developmental scenario of Pattan constituency | |
Srinagar,May 06 (Scoop News)-Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education, Youth Services and Sports, Moulvi Imran Raza Ansari today said the Water Supply schemes of the Pattan Constituency would be augmented in a proper manner, so that the people of the area get the requisite facilities of potable drinking water, besides face-lifting and beautification of the Pattan town would also be taken up soon.
The Minister was addressing officers during a comprehensive review meeting of the developmental scenario of the Pattan constituency.
The meeting was attended by Secretary, PHE Parvez Malik, Director Urban Local Bodies Kashmir Hilal Ahmad Parray, Chief Engineer PHE Muzaffar Lanker and other senior officers.
The Minister directed the officers of PHE to ensure that the people living in Pattan are get the requisite facilities of clean drinking water by undertaking proper augmentation of the already existing water supply schemes, besides proposing new ones which can be pursued with the concerned authorities. He also called for giving water supply to Panzinara area out of the Rangil Water Supply Scheme and also carrying out the necessary repair and renovation work of some schemes which are not functioning properly.
Ansari also directed the officers of Urban Local Bodies to ensure face-lifting and beautification of the historic Pattan town by augmenting it with the modern and state of art facilities. He also asked for undertaking the street lightening of the town, besides starting a comprehensive cleanness drive and also undertaking immediate repairs of the footpaths, lanes and drains.
