JK BJP leaders hail centre govt for enhancing the monthly wages of SPOs

Jammu, May 21 (Scoop News)-Expressing gratitude to the BJP led Narendra Modi government at the centre for enhancing the monthly wages of SPOs from Rs. 3000 to Rs. 6000, BJP State President & MP Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the government has fulfilled its promise to over 25000 SPOs working in the state.
Addressing a joint press conference alongwith Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Shamsher Singh Manhas and Jammu West MLA Sat Sharma (C.A), Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the party has always expressed its concern towards the welfare and upliftment of the SPOs, who have been working in very risky situations in far flung and remote areas infested by terrorist activities. He said that BJP had been demanding enhancement in their wages from years but unfortunately the Congress led UPA-1 and UPA-2 did nothing except lip service.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the BJP government at the Centre has fulfilled its promise and the State unit expresses gratitude to the Prime Minister, Union Home Minister and the National leadership of the party for taking up the cause of SPOs. He also declared that AIIMS as well as artificial lake project are very well there for Jammu and there is no question of shelving any of these prestigious projects adding that the opposition is making mountain out of mole hill. BJP stands committed for both the Projects for Jammu, he added.
Shamsher Singh Manhas, while announcing country-wide programmes to highlight the achievements of one year governance of Narendra Modi, said that simultaneous progrmames at hundred places across the country will be organized on July 26 to celebrate the year completion as “Jan Kalyan Parv”. He said that in just one year more than 56 schemes and projects have been launched for the welfare of common people. He said that the biggest achievement of one year rule of Modi led government is that not even a case of single penny corruption has been reported, which is highly appreciable.
