| Army holds ex servicemen rally, provides helpline and medical facilities to all | | 
Tangste (Ladakh), May 27, (Scoop News)-An Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Rally was organized on Wednesday at Village Tangste to mitigate the problems of ESM, veer naries, widows and their dependents by an Army battalion under the aegis of Trishul Division, a defence spokesman said.
"Informative stalls such as a helpline, ZSWO Cell, DPDO Cell, SBI Counter and a medical camp were established", he added.
The spokesman said ex-servicemen and veer naries interacted with the Commander Tangste Garrison and existing and future welfare schemes were discussed and propagated by ZSWO Cell, Leh.
He said DPDO Cell, Leh set about to resolve the pension related problems of the ex-servicemen, SBI, Tangste promulgated the loan and other schemes and provided clarification on the same.
Medical facilities were provided to all who attended the event, the spokesman said.
