Stop mobile service in Kashmir Valley: SRS
Jammu, May 28 (Scoop News)-Condemning attack on people engaged in mobile phone operations in north Kashmir, State President, Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan asked state as well as Central Government to stop providing mobile service in Kashmir Valley.

In a statement issued today, Rajiv Mahajan said that continued attack by anti national elements on those engaged in mobile phone businesses compel them to wind up their business.

Rajiv said only landline service be provided in Valley so that the communication network of such groups, who fitted equipment on a mobile phone tower for terror activities, be totally stopped.

“The common man in north Kashmir is worried about what will happen to their businesses if such incident will continue by the anti national elements,” Rajiv said.

He further said that many telecom operators across north Kashmir feel unsafe due to lack of security and according to them telecom operators are ready to shut down their business rather than being harassed or threatened in future.

It is pertinent to mention here that on May 25, one person died while two others were injured after unidentified gunmen opened fire at a BSNL outlet in Sopore town.
