| Equitable development & Uniform Justice for all: Kavinder Gupta | |
Jammu, July 06 (Scoop News)-Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker and MLA, Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta today inspected the progress of work on deep drains of the constituency and held various public meetings at Gangyal, Valmiki Colony and Ambika Colony. He also took stock of the damages occurred due to recent rains.
Gupta passed directions to the engineers to work round the clock for early completion of the work for construction of drains so that the people don’t have to suffer loss during heavy rains.
During these public meetings an awareness camp for the locals was also organized by the ERA department about maintaining and up keeping of the drains. While addressing various public meetings during his extensive tour of Gandhi Nagar Constituency, Gupta enumerated several initiatives taken up by the government for the e development of the area.
He assured the people that all their genuine developmental demands will be taken up on priority and every resource is being mobilized and pooled to provide basic amenities to the public with an eye on equitable development and uniform justice for all. He said that he is well aware of the problems of the locals and assured that no stone will be left unturned in redressing their grievances.
Being a local representative equitable development of every nook and corner of Gandhi Nagar is his primary responsibility and as far as the development of the state is concerned, the present government is duty bound for making this state a peaceful and economically self sufficient, he said. Baldev Billoria, Balwant Singh, Ludramani Sharma, Ch Harbans, Cpt. Jameet Singh, Jyoti Parkash, Harpal Singh, Ankush Gupta, Er. Ashwani Khosla, Vijender Dutta among others accompanied Gupta.
