| Sham Choudhary chairs Petitions Committee meet | | Settles 45 years old land case | Srinagar, July 27 (Scoop News)-The Committee on Petitions of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly today took up pending petitions regarding settlement of land case of one Sh. Raj Kumar Sharma resident of Miran Sahib, Jammu.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of MLA, Sham Lal Choudhary in which legislators, Vikar Rasool Wani, Altaf Ahmed Wani, Bashir Ahmed Dar, Javid Hassan Beigh and Abid Hussain Ansari attended.
After threadbare discussion and thoroughly examination of records, the Committee decided to settle the pending petition regarding settlement of land case of Sh. Raj Kumar Sharma resident of Miran Sahib, Jammu after 45 years.
The Committee, in presence of Secretary, Revenue, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu and the petitioner, recommended the case with the direction that the department should compensate the petitioner by way of allotting quantum of land in lieu of the 6 Kanals of land which was acquired by the Industries Department at Gangyal, Jammu in 1970 for expansion of Industrial Estate.
