| 3 gamblers arrested in Sriangar | |
Srinagar, July 27 (Scoop News)- Srinagar police arrested three gamblers and recovered stake money of Rs 98,900/= from the spot.
Acting on a specific information, a police party of Police Station Shaheed Gunj headed by SHO Shaheed Gunj Shri Nisar Ahmad raided a gambling site at Chota Bazar near Shivala Mandir and arrested three gamblers. The gamblers were identified as Farooq Ahmad Tramboo son of Abdul Rehman resident of Nawakadal, Ali Mohammad Raw son of Habib-ul-lah resident of Chanpora and Farooq Ahmad Degal son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Natipora, Srinagar.
A stake money of rupees 98,900/= alongwith playing cards were recovered from the spot. Srinagar police has registered a case FIR No. 58/2015 under section 13 Gambling Act was registered against them.
