| Dr. Farooq, Omar Abdullah pay tributes to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam | | Highlight his contributions and legacy of hard-work | 
Srinagar,July 28 (Scoop News)-National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Working President Mr. Omar Abdullah on Tuesday expressed grief over the demise of Former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Expressing their heartfelt condolences to Dr. Kalam’s family, Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Mr. Omar Abdullah said Dr. Kalam’s demise had left a vacuum that would be very hard to fill.
“I’m grieved at Dr. Kalam’s demise. He was an icon of hope and excellence for the entire country and inspired thousands of youngsters to work-hard in the pursuit of their goals and dreams. Dr. Kalam’s legacy will be that of hard-work, honesty and simplicity and he will continue to be an inspiration for generations to come”, NC President Dr. Farooq Abdullah said.
NC Working President Mr. Omar Abdullah, while expressing grief and sorrow over the demise of Dr. APJ Abdul Kamal highlighted his contributions to the country’s satellite and defense programs and said his tenure as a President would be remembered for his utmost simplicity and endearing optimism. “Dr. Kalam inspired youth all across the country and had many fans in J&K. He was committed to the dream of empowering our youth and giving them opportunities to grow and excel. I express my heartfelt condolences with his family and pray for peace to the departed soul”, the NC Working President said.
Senior Party Leaders, legislators and party functionaries have also expressed grief over the demise of Dr. Kalam and have prayed for peace to the departed soul.
