| JKPCC deeply mourns the passing away of Former President of India Dr. APJ Abul Kalam | | Stop beating the drums of so called developmental agenda, ensure safety and security of people, Mir to Modi Govt. | 
Srinagar, July 29 (Scoop News)-Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee deeply mourned the sad demise of a prominent Scientist, Former President of India Dr. APJ Abul Kalam popularly known as Missile Man, who passed away last night while delivering a lecture at Shilong, The contributions of Late Kalam as Scientist and as President of India have proved revolutionary, sky touching and an inspiration of all, he has taken the prestige of the country to new heights both as a great scientist and as President. He has worked hard for strength and Development of the Country, shall always be remembered for his great achievements as Scientist, JK PCC Chief Mr. G. A. Mir said while addressing day long convention at Cheepora Lolab in District Kupwara Today.
JK PCC Chief said that it is shocking over demise of former President APJ Abdul Kalam and has no words to express grief, the sudden demise of Former President has not disturbed and saddened every individual in the Country, his death is a great loss to an entire Nation. The void created due to his death can never be filled,JK PCC Chief said.
Mir while paying rich tributes to the son of soil deeply mourned the passing away of Former President and prayed for eternal peace to departed soul. He offered his condolences to Kalam family on behalf himself and Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee.
while addressing the convention he hit out at Modi led Govt at Centre for failing to ensure the safety of people of the Country, while referring to the at Gurdaspur attack, he castigated the Centre Govt and Punjab for not being serious about the safety and security of people.
Mir urged the Modi led Govt to concentrate on the Security of the country and do not waste time in hitting opponents and beating the drums of their so so called development agenda and unfulfilled promises. Wrong policies of NDA Govt at Centre have created a chaotic situation in the Country, he said.
Hitting out at PDP led Govt in the state for being non serious about resolving issues of flood affected people likeTraders, Businessmen, Shopkeepers and common people, JK PCC Chief said present dispensation led by PDP have let down the people in every respect, he sought clarity from the State Govt over Relief, Relief Rehabilitation of flood affected people and unemployment problem in the state, which has risen considerably.
JK PCC Chief said that people of the valley feel sorry about Mufti Mohd Syeed joining hand with BJP, as they (People) have never expected such an alliance that too between PDP and BJP, but it is now visible and indicative for all that different slogans of PDP and BJP were a political prank to woo the lure the voters in the Sept 2014 Elections aiming to take the reins of power enjoy luxurious life in palatial houses.
Describing approach of PDP and BJP towards the people as discriminatory, incongruous, PCC Chief said instead of addressing people’s issues, both PDP and BJP are indulging in mass discrimination and have adopted pick and choose policy in respect of Development of the State, Relief and Rehabilitation of Flood affected people, employment etc.
Referring to the alliance of PDP with Congress in 2005, PCC Chief said that Congress Party has whole heartedly supported Mufti Mohd Syed as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and provided every opportunity and assistance to him (Mufti) for running the State and addressing issues of people on priority, today he is in alliance with BJP, people of the all the three regions know what it (PDP) is for BJP.
Terming Congress Party as an instrument of service to the people, PCC Chief said Congress Party is committed for equivalent development of the State, JK PCC Chief said
