| Sajjad seeks early functioning of Ukhral College | | Banihal, August 01 (Scoop News)- District President National Conference Ramban Sajjad Shaheen on Saturday expressed concern over delaying the academics in Government College Ukhral and said the future of youngsters cannot be jeopardized in remote areas.
Chairing a meeting of the party workers of Block Ramsoo, Mr Shaheen sought the start of class work as early as possible, saying the further delay will prove to be counter productive, as the students were suffering a lot.
He said the youth friendly measures adopted by the Omar led government were being negated by the PDP-BJP coalition and cautioned that such tactics can boomerang as people’s patience cannot be tested for long.
The Block Committee also passed a resolution, seeking functioning of the newly announced administrative units in the Banihal Constituency. It particularly sought the early functioning of Tehsil office in Ramsoo and Community Development Block at Neel. “These revolutionary measures were aimed at taking the administration to doorstep of the people but the present government was showing non-seriousness in implementing the public-friendly decisions of the previous government in letter and spirit”, he added.... |
