| JCO Krishna Singh consigned to flames with full military honours : Spokesman | | 
Khatima (Uttarakhand), August 27, (Scoop News Network)_ Last rites of a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) of 3 KUMAON Rifles, Naib Subedar Krishna Singh were conducted Thursday morning at his home town with full military honours under the aegis of Station HQ Banbassa, a defence spokesman said.
Singh was martyred on August 25 following cross border firing targeting the Indian Post of Badal, where he was the post commander, during a cease fire violation, North of Pir Panjal, along the Line of Control.
Survived by Mrs Hira Jyala his wife and two sons aged 21 and 16 yrs, the 44 yr old JCO belonged to Khatima in District Udham Singh Nagar of Uttarakhand.
