Spalbar inaugurates newly upgraded High school building at Tayakshi

Leh, August 29 (Scoop News)-Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC, Leh Rigzin Spalbar inaugurated the newly upgraded High school building at Tayakshi constructed by PDW Special Sub-Division, Nubra under RAMSA at an estimated cost of Rs 39.91 lakhs, additional classrooms at Middle School, Chulugkha constructed under SSA at the cost of Rs. 13.66 lakhs and newly opened medical sub-centre at Chulungka in presence of Executive Councilor Health Dr. Sonam Wangchok, MLA Nubra Deldan Namgail, and Councilor, Turtuk Abdul Ali.
The important highlight of his tour was the laying of the foundation stone for the centralized residential school at Chulungkha- Turtuk which is coming up at an estimated cost of Rs 1355.40 lakhs. Spalbar expressing great hope from this school said that the main objective of having this school is to provide proper education and equal opportunity to the children in this area to make them better humans with enlightened wisdom and qualification. He said that this residential school will become an example for the rest of the world to project the fact that Muslims like any other religion or community aim for peace, non-violence and brotherhood and it will become an important place for promotion and preservation of rich heritage culture of Baltisan followed by the inhabitants in this part of Nubra Valley.
CEC appealed the public to support and coordinate in fulfilling the purpose of this school in its true spirit, thereby ensuring a promising and bright future of their children and in turn of their community. In every gathering at Tyaksi, Turtok, Chulungkha and Bogdang, Spalbar reiterated the efforts made by LAHDC, Leh in improving the education standard in government schools which has resulted in increased enrolment and better board results over the past two three years. He said that people had completely lost their faith and accountability on government schools but with focused priority and perseverance the present hill council has managed to rebuild that faith not only among the parents but has also motivated the teaching fraternity to give their best performance will full dedication and hard work.
Later, CEC also inaugurated the PHC building at Bogdang constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 214.45 lakhs. He urged upon the people to give the girl child good education along with proper medical care and awareness which is imperative to ensure a good physical and mental health.
Dr. Angchuk briefed the people about various schemes under NRHM and appealed them to make the best use of it. He also appreciated the efforts of doctors and Para medical staff for rendering their services sincerely and delicately at PHC Bogdang.
MLA, Nubra Deldan Namgail while addressing the gathering at Teyakshi announced to provide furniture items for High School, Teyakshi out of his constituency fund. He said that my main aim is to strengthen the Govt. Schools in Nubra.
Councilor Abdul Ali and Sarpanch also spoke on the occasion and projected some demands which include posting of local master/ lecturer in higher secondary School Turtok/ Bugdang and High School Takhshi, compound walling and extension of class room at High School Tayaksi.
