| DC Budgam for strict action against encroachments | | Budgam, August 30 (Scoop News)-The district administration, Budgam has launched an anti encroachment drive against foot path vendors to ensure hassle free movement of passenger and private vehicles in various areas of the district.
In this connection, a team of Municipal Committee, Budgam assisted by the concerned police and revenue officers today demolished/ removed all encroachments on the foot paths and roads in the Budgam town.
The District Development Commissioner has asked the concerned officers to launch similar anti encroachment drives, on sustained basis, in the district for the convenience of the people. He further appealed the people in general and footpath vendors in particular to cooperate with the district administration in the implementation of the welfare measures including removal of encroachments from the roads and foot paths.
