| 2 drug peddlers arrested in Shopian | | 70 Kilograms Fuki recovered |
Srinagar, August 31 (Scoop News)-Shopian police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 70 kilograms of fuki from their possession.
On a specific information a police party headed by SHO Shopian Shri Feroz Ahmad under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Shri Zahoor Ahmad Wani laid a naka at Mughal Pora, in the jurisdiction of Police Post Keegam. During the naka checking a load carrier driven by Ashaq Dar son of Abdul Hamid Dar resident of Haji Check Keegam bearing registration number JK13B/7782 and a motorcycle driven by Gulzar Ahmad Wagay son in law of Ali Mohammad Wagay resident of Batmuran were intercepted. During the searches 09 bags of Fuki weighing about 70 Kilograms was recovered from the vehicles.
Shopian police arrested the duo and registered a case FIR No 187/15 under section 15/18 NDPS Act against them and investigation was taken up.
