| Poswal urges union Minister Jual Oram to set up small scale industries | | in tribal areas of JK | 
Jaipur, October 6 (Scoop News)-Ishfaq ur- Rehman Poswal, BJP leader and national executive member ST Morcha on Tuesday urged union minister for tribal affairs Jual Oram to set up small scale industries in tribal areas of Jammu and Kashmir to help provide jobs to Gujjar people especially youths.
Poswal held a meeting with union minister in Rajasthan. ‘Since Gujjars rear livestock mostly the sheep, there is great scope of establishing Wool and Khadi industries in tribal areas to address the unemployment problem,” Poswal told the minister, according to a statement.
“Such a move will enhance job opportunities for literate Gujjar youths and girls and many others,” he added. On the occasion Poswal submitted a memorandum with regard to establishment of Wool and Khadi industries in tribal areas.
The minister assured Poswal that the ministry will look into matter and take necessary measures for the welfare of Gujjar community. “The minister gave a patient hearing and assured that every possible step will be taken for the welfare of Gujjars,” Poswal said.
The Gujjar leader told that the minister that tribal affairs ministry is in place in Jammu and Kashmir as well which is working for the welfare of these tribal people.
Poswal told the minister that the tribal affairs ministry has been taking necessary welfare measures for tribal people.
“I am hopeful that the ministry will take necessary measures to help provide jobs to lakhs of jobless Gujjar youths in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, which has been badly hit due to the turmoil for past over two decades,” he added
