Ganga launches development works in border areas | | Samba, November 20 (Scoop News)-Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today launched the work of improvement and up gradation of Ramgarh-Nanga road in border areas of district Samba. Ganga also kick started the work of widening of a culvert on Avtal to Baba Chamliyal road in Ramgarh area to be constructed with an amount of Rs 17.15 lakh. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that amount for both the works have been sanctioned and the project of widening and up-gradation of both the border roads would be completed in a phase manner. Rs 12 Crore would be spent on the up gradation and midevening of both the important border roads of the area”, he added. Ganga said that the coalition Government headed by Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is putting sincere efforts in providing better road connectivity especially in rural areas and in the development of the state as a whole. Highlighting the efforts of the government in providing better infrastructure to the people, Ganga said that in a very short period, government has initiated various development works and most of the works have been completed. Hailing the economic package recently announced by the PM Narendra Modi, the Minister said that sufficient funds have been allocated for the development of all regions and all sectors. He said that within next few years the state would witness massive development activities in the state. Among others, SDM Vijaypur, Rajnish Gupta, XEN PWD(R&B) Dinesh Rampal, concerned officers, sarpanches, panches and local public of the area were present on the occasion. ... |
