Bhaderwah Campus, JU to host Chenab Valley Youth Festival "SANGAM 2015"


Bhaderwah ,November 24 (Scoop News)-Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu will host three-day long youth festival "Sangam 2015" in collaboration with 4 Rashtriya Rifles (4RR) from in which more than 300 students of different colleges of Chenab belt will participate.

Giving details of activities during this three-day festival, Prof. Bhat said that a total of 34 different competitions viz sports (both
outdoor and indoor), fine arts, performing arts and, academics (quiz, debate, lecture series, etc). shall be held during the Youth Festival scheduled from November 28 to November 30, 2015.

Prof G.M Bhat said that these kinds of activities will encourage the students and populace to work in synergy with the Armed Forces uphold peace in the region. He said that these kinds of events will help to strengthen the bond of mutual brotherhood.

It is pertinent to mention here that since last one year, Bhaderwah Campus organized many academic, sports and cultural events including
two T-20 Cricket tournaments to explore the hidden talents of the youths of Bhaderwah and its adjoining areas.

Last year also, a three-day Youth Festival (Sangam 2014) was organised by Bhaderwah Campus of the University of Jammu in collaboration with 4 Rastryia Rifles (Bihar) under the aegis of CIF(Delta) under "op Sadhbhavana."
