| 1 dies, 6 injured in road accidents | |
Srinagar, February 06 (Scoop News)-One person died while six others were injured in separate road accidents in South Kashmir.
In Kulgam, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK05B-4346 driven by Ajaz Ahmad Bhat resident of Bona Bazar, Shopian collided with a motorcycle driven by Nisar Ahmad Mir resident of Kathpora at Rampora in the jurisdiction of Police Post Qaimoh, resulting in injuries to five persons. All the injured were shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment where Nisar Ahmad Mir succumbed to his injuries. Two of the injured persons were shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment. Kulgam police has registered a case in this regard.
In Pulwama, an Alto car bearing registration number JK13B-8706 hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Nabi Bhat resident of Washbugh, Pulwama at Pulwama near Court Complex. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Pulwama for treatment. Pulwama police has registered a case in this regard.
In Anantnag, a motorcycle driven by Fayaz Ahmad Rather resident of Shallagam skidded off the road at Karikadal in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Bijbehara for treatment. Anantnag police has registered a case in this regard.
