Talking Kashmir resolution doesn’t mean separatism – Er Rasheed

Anantnag,February 06 (Scoop News)-AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er Rasheed has said that those who have introduced ‘mainstream and separatists’ definitions for Kashmiri politicians have done it with well-designed thought to divide Kashmiris.

While addressing party convention at Town Hall Anantnag today, he said, “These think tanks have successfully fulfilled the desires of New Delhi to weaken the Kashmiris at all fronts. First they divided people in the name of separatists and mainstream brands and then created further division by calling for self-rule and autonomy just to avoid the genuine resolution of Kashmir dispute.

It is not fair to label Kashmiris as separatists, mainstream, moderates and hardcores as Kashmir belongs to every Kashmiri and it is duty of political leaders of all thoughts to work for the resolution of Kashmir issue. Nobody can ask anyone a separatist simply for seeking Kashmir resolution, as talking about resolution doesn’t mean separatism.” Er Rasheed said that the deteriorating condition of roads, drains and other civic facilities in Anantnag and adjoining areas speak itself about the performance of the government and alleged that PDP has been taking people of Anantnag for-granted by getting votes on regional card.

Others who spoke on the occasion included Adv Mujeeb, Farooq Ahmad Rather and Mushtaq Suhail and others.
