Chona Ha Aasmaan functions held in Sopore, Pulwama and Bandipora

Srinagar, February 13 (Scoop News)-In its efforts to strengthen the Police Public relations and to nurture the talent of the youth, three cultural programmes titled “CHONA HA AASMAAN” were today held in Sopore and Pulwama, Badipora.
The cultural programme in Sopore was held in Police Line Sopore in which 24 youth from of District participated and showed their talent in Solo Singing.
Dawood Ahmad Najar resident of Naseer Colony Sopore bagged the first position, Javaid Ahmad Sheikh resident of Sopore 2nd and Nazir Ahmad Sheikh resident Chinkipora Sopore third position in the event.
The position holders were honored with cash prizes along with trophies.
In Pulwama, a large number of young boys and girls participated in the event with full enthusiasm and showed their talent in singing, mimicry and dancing.
There were 02 categories in the programme, Senior and Junior. Parents of children participated in event also attended the function and applauded the efforts of Police organization. On the conclusion of function winner and runner ups were awarded cash prize and trophies. The lunch was also served for the all participant of the event by Pulwama police.
In Bandipora, youth from different parts of the district participated in Singing and dancing. The 10 participants whose performance was adjudged excellent by the jury were awarded with cash prize and trophies by SSP Bandipora Sh. Mohammed Shabir.
The event was witnessed by senior officers of Police, CRPF and civil administration.
Speaking at the occasion of the event SSP Bandipora said that Jammu and Kashmir Police is putting all its efforts to lend support and provide platform to the youth so that their hidden talent could be explored and channelized in a right direction for the overall welfare and betterment of society.
Shri Mohammad Yousif ASP Bandipora presented vote of thanks at the occasion and said that in upcoming months District Police Bandipora is planning to organize Debate, Essay Writing and Painting competitions at Hr Secondary School and Degree college level under CAP with an aim to inculcate a spirit of competition among students.
