| Governor , Chief Secretary express grief over demise of S.V. Meena | | Jammu, February 13 (Scoop News)- Governor N. N. Vohra has expressed grief over the tragic sudden passing away of Shyam Vinod Meena, a J&K Cadre IAS Officer of 2008 batch, who was presently on deputation to the Central Government as Private Secretary to Minister of State (Water Resources). Meena had earlier worked in the State as SDM Reasi, SDM Doda, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Deputy Commissioner Ramban and Additional Secretary, Irrigation & Flood Control Department.
In a condolence message the Governor has conveyed his sympathies to the members of the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Chief Secretary, B R Sharma has expressed profound grief over the sad demise of young IAS officer of J&K Cadre of 2008 batch, Shyam Vinod Meena. The officer was presently on central deputation.
In a condolence message, Chief Secretary has expressed sympathies with the bereaved family of the young officer and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Shyam Vinod Meena had also worked in the state as SDM Reasi, ADC Kathua, DC Ramban, DC Doda and Additional Secretary I&FC Department. He was born in 1978.
