| Sat Sharma inaugurates upgradation works of Talab Tillo Park | |
Jammu, April 29 (Scoop News)- State President BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) inaugurated the completed works for widening of tile path at Interrogation Lane Zanana park falling in Ward Number 30 of the Constituency. Accompanied by Director KK Sharma and officials of Floriculture Department, many local residents and political activists were also present on the occasion. A large number of people gathered on the spot and hailed the developmental measures taken by the local MLA to redress public grievances.
The works were done under the supervision of Floriculture department at an estimated cost of around Rupees Ten Lakhs.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it was a pending demand of the residents of the area from a long time as it is the only park which caters to the needs of local residents and adjoining areas so it was necessary to take up the developmental works in order to provide the public with basic amenities.
He also asked the public to frame a committee for the development and maintenance of the park so that face-lifting of the park could be done and he also stated that any further funds required for the maintenance and up gradation of the same will also be given from the CDF (Constituency Development Fund) Scheme so that a the quality of the modern park is maintained.
The BJP President said stated that development is the core agenda of BJP and timely whole State will witness the same when each and every work will reach the ground levels which were ignored by previous government of the State.
He also stressed upon maintenance of other parks in Jammu West and also asked the officials of Floriculture to look into the same.
