Commitment, credibility imperative for successful entrepreneurs: Ganga
Inaugurates 3 Weeks Entrepreneurship Development Programme under SCFS/YSLS

Jammu, April 29 (Scoop News)- Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Prakash Ganga said that commitment and credibility are imperative fore successful entrepreneurs and exhorted upon the budding entrepreneurs to work with dedication and remain honest with their work.
This was stated by the Minister after inaugurating 3 Weeks Entrepreneurship Programme under Seed Capital Fund Scheme (SCFS)/Youth Startup Loan Scheme by Jammu Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) here today.
The Minister interacted with the prospective entrepreneurs and congratulated them for registering with JKEDI to avail benefits of various schemes under which they will be trained and provided financial support to start their own business units. He also discussed various business activities with the aspirants and talked to them regarding their proposed business ventures, assuring them all possible support from the government to make their projects successful.
On the occasion, young aspirants shared their ideas regarding variety of business activities under manufacturing, services and agro allied sectors.
Speaking on the occasion, Ganga asked the candidates to adopt innovative techniques in running their proposed business units so that they would be able to face market challenges. He also stressed on proper market research before finalizing their units so that they would succeed in their efforts and contribute in the development of the society by providing employment to others.
The Minister said that it is not possible to provide government jobs to everyone and stressed on youth to avail benefits of various self-employment schemes which have been introduced by the centre and state government.
On the occasion, Director JKEDI, M I Parray informed the Minister about the aim of JKEDI to make the youth of state self reliant. It was also informed that this is the first programme in current financial year and from May 8 – 12, similar training programmes will be conducted in all district headquarters of Jammu Division.
The Minister was also informed that the curriculum of the training includes a proper mix of theory and actual market simulation with adequate field visits and the programme aims to equip candidates with business skills and exposure to market situations.
The Minister asked the officials of JKEDI to reach out to people in remote areas where scope of job opportunities is very low and provide training and financial assistance to youth for starting up their own business units. He also extended his best wishes to all the candidates for their future business endeavors and assured all possible support to them.
Among others, Director JKEDI, M I Parray, CPO, JKEDI, Majid Manzoor Khan, concerned officials and candidates were present on the occasion.
