| DDC convenes grievance redressal camp at Gool | |  Ramban, May 26 (Scoop News)- With an aim to redress the problems of the people living in far-flung areas, District Development Commissioner, Ramban Mohammad Aijaz today convened a public grievance redressal camp at Gool.
The people apprised the DDC about various problems being faced by them including regular supply of safe drinking water, uninterrupted power supply, upgradation of lanes and drains, filling up of vacant posts in Government hospital, old age pension to left out beneficiaries, renovation of roads and buildings.
The villagers hailing from Sangaldan, Gundi, Daram, Ind, Chachwa, Kalimasta, Bhimdasa, Parthmula, Ghagra, Mawalkote, Haila, Farmrote and Gagarsula also put forth their demands before the DDC.
After listening to the grievances of the people, the DDC directed the concerned officers to take up necessary measures for timely redressal of the genuine problems of the people. He asked the officers to conduct regular visits and organize camps in all remotest areas of the district to spread awareness about the state and centrally schemes for the welfare of the common masses.
The DDC directed the Labour Department for providing labour cards to the deserving people so that they reap the benefits of such schemes.
He stressed on proper implementation of Public Service Guarantee Act and asked the officers to provide services to the people in a time bound manner. In this regard, he also instructed the officers to maintain record of the applications received under Act.
ACR, Ramban Vevaik Puri, SDM, Gool Zameer Reshu, DSWO Varunjeet Singh Charak, ACD GH Kripak and other officers of the concerned departments were present on the occasion.
