| Tarigami moved Adjournment Motion in LA | | Srinagar, May 27 (Scoop News)-Senior CPI (M) leader and MLA Kulgam Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami today moved an Adjournment Motion Notice in terms of Rule 56 of the Rules Procedures and Conduct of Business of J&K Legislative Assembly for discussing the damages caused due to hailstorms in Anantnag, Kulgam, Budgam and other areas of Kashmir Valley which was not admitted by the Hon’ble Speaker.
The opposition moved adjournment motions to suspend the day’s business enabling the House to discuss the issues of urgent public importance, which were disallowed by the Hon’ble Speaker. The opposition unitedly raised various other issues on the floor of the house, which include unfortunate civilian killings in Handwara, dissatisfaction on National Food Security Act (NFSA).
Hon’ble Speaker did not allow Motions compelling the entire opposition
to stage walkout.
