DIG Armed visits Armed Police Complex Zewan

Srinagar, June 30 (Scoop News)-Deputy Inspector General of Police Armed, Alok Kumar visited Armed Police Complex Zewan and inspected training of one month special law and order course of Admn coys of all Kashmir battalions.
Shri Alok Kumar witnessed demonstration of dealing law and order riot control exhibition by 3rd batch of trainees in one month specialized law and order training course of admn staff of all Kashmir based battalions.
Speaking on the occasion, DIG Armed appreciated the effort put forth by Commandant JKAP 9th Battalion Shri Shailender Singh in training the admn staff of armed police. He said main focus of training admn staff is to keep them refreshed with law and order challenges and drill to be used in dealing with it as Admn coys are always deployed for law and order in extreme law and order situation.
The DIG appreciated the trainees and wished that the officers and jawans of the Armed Police will continue to perform their duties with great zeal, zest and dedication. He also emphasized to achieve higher goals and jawans must keep good health for which stress was made on regular physical activities and refresher training.
On the occasion the DIG was accompanied by Commandant JKAP 9th Bn Shailender Singh, Commandant JKAP 12th Bn Baqar Samoon and other officers/jawans of the battalion.
