1 dies, 13 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, June 30 (Scoop News)-One person died while 13 others were injureid in different road accidents across the valley.
In Awantipora, a Tipper bearing registration number JK14B-3836 driven by Ashiq Hussain Teli hit a pedestrian Nisar Ahmad Shergojri son of Abdul Satar resident of Ladhoo at Ladhoo Nagbal Khrew, resulting in his on spot death. After completion of legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. Awantipora police has registered a case in this regard.
In Srinagar, A bus bearing registration number JK05A-7937 of Engineering College Parihaspora driven by Mohammad Ashraf Shah resident of Batamaloo, Srinagar hit a motorcycle at Karan Nagar in the jurisdiction of police station Karan Nagar, resulting in the injuries to the motorcyclist Aqib Amin Mir resident of Nawa Bazaar, Srinagar. The Injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.
Meanwhile a Load carrier bearing registration number JK01X-4111 hit and injured two handcart pullers Faizal Ahmad Nadroo and Imran Ahmad Malik residents of Bund Parimpora at Umerabad in the jurisdiction of Police Station Parimpora. Both the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment. Srinagar police has registered cases regarding both the accidents.
In Sopore, a Sumo bearing registration number JK01D-0887 hit and injured a minor boy Yawar Ahmad Yatoo resident of Warpora Sopore at Tragpora. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Baramulla for treatment. Sopore Police has registered a case in this regard.
In Anantnag, a Motorcycle driven by Majid Ahmad Dar resident of Mir Danter Anantnag met with an accident at Mattan near Grid Station in the jurisdiction of Police Station Mattan, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and pillion mate Ajaz Ahmad Rather resident of Kulgam. Both the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile a Truck bearing registration number JK02B-6285 hit a Police vehicle of Police Post Janglat Mandi at Ashajipora, Anantnag, resulting in injuries to seven police officials boarding the vehicle. All the injured were shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment. Anantnag police has registered cases regarding both the accidents.
