Question Hour LC :Sanction for up-gradation of Baleeni-Katal Batal road awaited: Hanjura

Srinagar, June 30 (Scoop News)-Minister for Agriculture Production, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura today informed that Government has submitted a proposal to Government of India for up-gradation of road from Baleeni to Katal Batal at an estimated cost of Rs 7.09 crore.
Replying, on behalf of Minister for Public Works, to a question of Ajatshatru Singh, the Minister said a project for up-gradation of 6.32 km road which leads to Dev Sthan Pad Devta from Nagrota side at an estimated cost of Rs 7.09 crore has been submitted to Union Ministry of Rural Development under PMGSY Phase-X for sanction, which is awaited.
The Minister said that there is a bridal path of length 3.50 kms which takes off from Aitham of Sidhra-Surinsar road and is presently being used by pilgrims to visit Pad Devsthan. He said currently there is no proposal to construct the road on the said location.

GAD instructions on privileges to legislators being adhered strictly: Hanjura
Minister for Agriculture Production, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura today said the Hospitality and Protocol Department has put in place warrant of precedence, protocol, privileges and amenities to the Members of State Legislature and instructions are notified from time to time to follow the same.
Replying, on behalf of Minister for Hospitality and Protocol, to a clubbed question of Dr. Bashir Ahmad Veeri and Mohammad Muzaffar Parray, the Minister said circular instructions issued by General Administration Department (GAD) and Hospitality & Protocol Department on privileges to the legislators from time to time are being followed in letter and spirit by the Department. He said that any violation in circular instructions is dealt immediately and sternly.
The Minister said in case of complaint received from any visiting dignitary or visitor, the same is verified and the action as warranted under rules is taken against erring officer under Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules 1956.



Water supply to Garan, Gran Goswan to be restored by October 2016: Sham Lal
Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Chaudhary today said that work on restoration of drinking water facilities to village Garan & Gran Goswan is in progress and is likely to be completed by the end of October, 2016.
Replying to a question of Jugal Kishore Sharma, the Minister said DPR of WSS Hut for village Parthal for an amount of Rs 132 lakh and DPR of WSS Sersundian for village Bakal for an amount of Rs 116.74 lakh stand submitted to the Railway Authority, adding that work on the WSSs shall be taken as soon as funds are received from the Railway Authority.
The Minister informed that water supply to the village Seen Brahmana has been restored.


Rs. 616.11 cr approved under DDUGJY schemes: Naeem Akhtar
Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar today informed that Rs 616.11 crore have been approved under Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) schemes for 21 districts of J&K State.
Replying, on behalf of Power Minister, to a question of Saif-ud-Din Bhat, the Minister said DDUGJY works in Khansahib Assembly Segment stand included in the DDUGJY scheme for Budgam District with sanctioned cost of Rs 27.34 crore. He said feeder segregation, metering, system strengthening and connecting unconnected areas of the Constituency are included in the Action Plan
The Minister informed that e-tender for the DDUGY scheme stands floated and due to no response, online bid submission date was extended till May 25th, 2016. He said all the tendering procedure is completed and work shall start for Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) scheme.
