| Army holds vocational training course on 'Electrical and Welding' to boost employment | | for unemployed youth residing in remote areas. |
Jhangar, July 24, (Scoop News)-The Army at Jhangar conducted a vocational training course on ‘Electrical and Welding’ in conjunction with civil administration in an endeavour to boost self employment for the unemployed youth residing in remote areas.
Twenty youth from remote villages of Jhangar, Bhowani, Saryah, Makri, Lam and Laroka attended the one-month long cadre. Special emphasis was given to enhance skills in keeping with the Army’s commitment towards employment generation in rural and backward villages of border areas.
With an aim to provide avenues for establishment of small-scale projects to these youth in respective villages, the training on theoretical and practical aspects of ‘Electrical and Welding’ skills, familiarization with basic mechanism and other important aspects were imparted.
