| Wreath laying ceremony held at DPL Pulwama | |
Srinagar ,August 27(Scoop News)-A wreath laying ceremony was held in District Police Lines Pulwama where floral tributes were paid to the martyr SgCt Khurshid Ahmad Ganie son of Abdul Aziz, who was martyred in a militant attack this Morning. SP Pulwama Shri Rayees Mohammad Bhat-IPS led the officer and Jawans in paying the tributes by laying the floral wreaths on the body of the martyr.
The deceased was martyred in Quil area of Pulwama District when he was leaving his home for duties. He was leaving for District Police Lines Pulwama when gunmen fired at him from closed range this early morning.
The deceased policeman is survived by wife, 14 years old son and aged father.
