| Verma visits site for OBC Boys Hostel | |
Jammu,August 27(Scoop News)- State Advisory Board for Welfare & Development of OBC, Vice-Chairman, Rashpal Verma, alongwith Board Secretary Ravi Pal Magotra, PWD JE R.P. Gandotra, Vishwakarna Sabha President Shashi Pal Verma, leaders of BJP and local residents paid visit to village Seri Kaing in Kot Bhalwal for the inspection of the land where OBC Boys Hostel is to be constructed.
Rashpal Verma sought the details related to the area of land, building plan and the formal process completed so far to start the construction.
Rashpal Verma told that a land measuring 12 kanals and 35 marles has been allotted to OBC Board for the purpose. The total cost of the constructing OBC Hostel is rupees 3 crore 11 lakh and first installment of rupees 11 lakh has been released while rupees 70 lakh is going to be released within a weak as second installment. He said that with the construction of this hostel, the male students of OBC community will be benefitted.
Earlier, Rashpal Verma paid visit to the Dashmesh Nagar in Digiana, where a building has been taken on rent and the OBC students will get hostel there with free meals, uniform and books etc.
