| ASLAJ elects new team, Sonam elected as president and Stanzin Angmo new general secretary | |
Jammu, September 28, (Scoop News)-Ladakh Students Association-Jammu (ALSAJ) held its annual election at Ladakh Sarai on Tuesday and Sonam Paljor as its new president, a press statement issued on Wednesday said.
Those who got elected to various posts of the association included Sonam Paljor (president), Delden Namgyal and Stanzin Dolkar (both vice presidents), Stanzin Angmo (general secretary), Tsering Dolkar (joint secretary), Kungzang Namgyal and Nawang Yangdol (both treasurers), Stanzin Sonam and Chuzin Palmo (media incharges) and Tsetan Dolkar, Rigzin Yangdol and Stanzin Mingyur Matho (auditors).
Jigmit Chorol, Dechen Angmo, Konchok Wangial and Rigzin Gyatso were elected as cultural secretaries while Tsering Lhamo, Chosdol Lamo, Stanzin Lotus and Tandup Namgyal were chosen as sports secretaries of ALSAJ.
