| Recruitment rally at Bandipora | | 
Bandipora,. September 29, (Scoop News)- Riding high on the success of the Recruitment Rally in Anantnag, the Army has commenced today the Northern leg of the rally in Bandipora for the six districts of North Kashmir. The Recruitment Rally which will continue till 03 Oct 16 is being organized by Watlab Sector and Army Recruiting Organisation covering the districts of Bandipora, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Srinagar and Kupwara for all categories. On the first day, over 900 registered candidates from Bandipora and Ganderbal districts participated in the rally till the filing of this report. Brigadier Vikram Nagpal, Cdr Watlab Sector interacted with the candidates prior and during the conduct of Rally. The Youth were enthusiastic and displayed a high level of motivation and patriotism to join the Army.
The candidates are being screened for their physical fitness, medical examination and documentation. Successful candidates will undergo a written test on 23 Oct 2016 at Anantnag. The event was ably supported by the state administration and the Rally is a step by Army to ameliorate the conditions of unemployed youth of the Kashmir region. “The huge turnout for recruitment reflects the interest and enthusiasm shown by the youth for a career in Army”, the Deputy Director General Recruiting (Punjab and J&K) for the Kashmir and Ladhak region said.
