| Team Jammu organises blood donation camp at PHQ | | pays rich tributes to brave cops who had attained martyrdom while defending nation |
Jammu, October 21, (Scoop News)-To salute the brave police martyrs who laid down their lives while fighting with anti national elements, Team Jammu with collaboration of zonal police headquarters Friday organized a blood donation camp at Gulshan Ground near Police Headquarters.
Aim of the blood donation camp was to express solidarity with the families of those brave cops of J&K Police who attained martyrdom with fighting for the nation and for the future generation of the State.
“We salute the heroic cops of J&K Police who sacrificed their lives to safeguard the country”, said Zorawar Singh Jamwal, chairman of the Team Jammu. He said that Team Jammu conveyed its deepest sympathies to the members of the families of martyr cops.
“The whole nation is indebted to the martyrs of J&K Police who laid down their lives to frustrate evil designs of the enemy. The attained sacrificed to preserve territorial integrity, low and order in the face of ruthless ambition of anti national forces”, he said, adding, “it is our duty to offer their salutation to the heroic police officers of J&K Police who sacrificed their lives in the performance of their duties for the people”.
Pointing towards prevailing situation in the State, Mr. Jamwal said that despite facing pressure from different quarters, J&K Police is still fighting terrorism of different kinds. He asid that on the one hand, J&K Police is fighting with the proxy war supported by the neighbouring country on the other hand our brave cops are fighting with new form of agitational terrorism.
He made it point to mention ongoing turbulent situation in Kashmir Valley in which cops are facing intense pressure from different quarters.
“We should take pride in the facts that J&K Police is amongst the most courageous and efficient police forces of the country which has made innumerable sacrifices to frustrate dangerous designs of the anti-national forces”, he said and narrated how J&K Police had tracked down terrorists during terror attacks in the state.... |
