| Speaker reviews pace of R&B projects | | Jammu, October 21, (Scoop News)-Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta Friday directed the PWD (R&B) Department to prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for the various projects so that the work on these can be started immediately.
The Speaker said this while chairing a meeting of officers of the department. The meeting was attended by Executive Engineer R&B, Rajan Mengi, AEEs, Rafiq Sheikh, Arvind Gupta and Manoj Kumar and other officers.
Addressing the meeting, Kavinder Gupta impressed upon the concerned officers to ensure that the projects are started in time . He also directed the officers to speed up the ongoing work on construction of roads and stressed that the projects must be completed on time.
Kavinder Gupta directed for proper monitoring to ensure that quality works are executed on ground and stressed that developmental works are carried out catering to the area specific requirements .
Later, Kavinder Gupta also convened a meeting with the officers of Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED) to discuss implementation of centrally schemes .
