| Congress Convention held in Kargil | | Mir avoided to comment on Trifurcation of the state issue | 
Jammu, October 22, (Scoop News)-Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee President Ghulam Ahmed Mir Visited Kargil on Friday to attend the convention organised by district congress committee. Meanwhile MLA Shangas Gulzar Ahmed, MLA Kargil Asgar Karbalai, former MLA Zanaskar Ghulam Raza, Executive Councillors LAHDC, Councillors and hundreds of workers joined the convention.
During the convention congress party workers expressed extreme resentment to the party high command for not giving attention to the party in Kargil.
However talking to media Mir said the there are two ideology in India currently and we have to decide on which side we have to stand. The Ideology of Godse and Gandhi are challenging each other and nation has seen the effects of Godse’s Ideology.
Talking about surgical strike he said that Modi government is using the surgical strike as political benefit. “Soon after the strike they (BJP) have displayed hording in UP election which should not happen. Although the same surgical strike was happen in past during Manmohan government too.
Talking about PDP Congress coalition in Kargil council Mir said, “We have no official proof yet about the current CEC that he is in PDP”.
Replying about trifurcation of the state issue G. A Mir avoided to respond and when the reporters asked him why their congress leaders signed the memorandum on UT for ladakh when they met rajnath singh . Mir said, “First ask Mehbooba why her minister in the cabinet have signed then I will reply”.
