Bukhari visits FC, Div Com, DC offices, interacts with people
Srinagar, October 24, (Scoop News)-Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Syed Basharat Bukhari today directed the officers for taking necessary steps for ensuring speedy redressal of the problems being faced by the people.
The Minister was interacting with officers during his visit to the Financial Commissioner, Revenue, Divisional Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner Offices at Srinagar here today.
The Minister directed the officers to work mechanism for ensuring speedy and time bound redesssal of the people’s problems, so that all related cases pertaining to the revenue and other related issues are solved. He said that the officers should be readily available to the people in order to get the requisite feedback about the day to day problems of the people and also involve their participation in speeding up the developmental initiatives being undertaken in different sectors.
While directing preservation of the heritage value of the revenue complex, the Minister directed involving experts of the field so that the historic complex can be properly preserved and the requisite renovation also carried out. He said that these buildings are a part of our heritage and history and therefore necessary care should be taken for ensuring their conservation.
Syed Basharat Bukhari also interacted with the participants of the 5day orientation programme of the BLOs being undertaken on special summary of electoral rolls and assured the participants that the issues being faced by them would be tackled on priority so that the lacunae, if any in the electoral lists and rolls are rectified.
The Minister also interacted with scores of people and assured them that the government is committed to ensure speedy redressal of the problems being faced by them. He said that they should also contribute their bit in ensuring speedy implementation of the various developmental initiatives and also sustainment of peace.
The Minister later inspected the various offices of the complex and directed undertaking the necessary renovation, besides augmenting the libraries, providing them with latest law books , so that officers will not face any inconvenience while deciding various revenue cases and issues.
Financial Commoner, Revenue, Mr Lokesh Jha, Divisional Commissioner, Mr Baseer Khan, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar and other senior officers were present.
