NCSU constitutes its MAM College Unit
Jammu,October 24, (Scoop News)-National Conference Students Union (N.C.S.U) on Monday constituted its unit for M.A.M. College at a function held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan at which a large number of students of the College joined Union.
Congratulating the new entrants and the functionaries of the NCSU, District President Jammu Urban Mr Dharamveer Singh Jamwal said that National Conference has all along espoused the cause youth, especially students, as they were the real custodians of the future of Jammu and Kashmir.
‘Youth have prominent role in shaping the destiny of the state and building a harmonious society based upon equality and social justice”, he said, adding that Jammu and Kashmir is passing through a difficult phase and a huge duty has cast upon the youngsters to strengthen unity and amity between various segments of the society.
Former NC MLA Dr Chaman Lal also complimented the NCSU for playing positive role in bringing the students on a common platform.
Mr Sandeep Singh, Incharge NCSU highlighted the activities of the Union in recent times, saying a positive atmosphere is prevailing in the higher academic institutions, as youth are yearning for peace and ideal situation to pursue their academics.
Meanwhile, Mohit Aryan was announced as the President of the NCSU unit M A M College and Vinay Choudhary as Senior Vice President. Zaheer Zain, Akshay Aryan, Mubashir Manhan, Mubashir Ahmed were appointed as Vice Presidents while Mohd Imranand and Abhishek were asppointed as General Secretaries. Zahid Shah will be Joint Secretary and Shoail Ahmed Wani and Waqar Younis as Media Secretaries. Mohd Rafiq will function as Advisor and Shokia Ahmed Wani and Mukesh Aryan as Treasurers.
Welcoming the students in the party, Saahil Singh Jamwal, Provincial Sr. Vice President NCSU expressed satisfaction over the joining of large number of students in the Union with a resolve to strengthen spirit of camaraderie among the young people.
He lamented over the failure of the coalition government in addressing to the issues pertaining to youth, especially students.
Sandeep Singh also spoke on the occasion and expressed concern over the unrest in Kashmir, saying this has jeopradised the academic career of students.
Mr Rajeshwar Singh and Vikas Badhoria were prominent among those present on the occasion.
