| Nanda for making rural women self-reliant | | 21- Day 'Dress Designing' course concludes at Panthal |
Reasi, December 07, (Scoop News)- The 21 day long training course on Dress Designing sponsored by State Bank of India (SBI), Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RESTI) , Reasi concluded here today at Panthal.
Minister of State for Finance, Planning, IT, Tribal Affairs, Labour and Employment, Ajay Nanda was the chief guest at the valedictory function.
A batch of 43 local women was imparted training in dress designing techniques.
Speaking on the occasion, Nanda said that training in such trades helps in making women self reliant. He also asked the concerned to organize more such camps for the women in rural areas. He also appreciated the SBI for organizing Rural Self Employment Training Camps.
Later, Nanda distributed certificates among the trained women.
Senior officers and officials of various departments were also present on the occasion.
