Separatist trioka condemns Ms Mufti's statement on AFSPA
issues shut down calendar for Jan 21, 25 and 27

Srinagar, January 18, (Scoop News)-Kashmir based Muslim separatist trioka ,Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik said that Ms Mehbooba Mufti's statement that lakhs of Indian forces stationed in Jammu and Kashmir will continue to enjoy immunity from any accountability for their actions of harassing people of Kashmir till "peace "is achieved is lamentable to say the least.

They said that it is the same lady who once would stage protests and sit ins with banners in her hand, vehemently opposing AFSPA and demanding its immediate revocation .

Joint separatist leadership said that It is a fact that "peace" that is dependent on the barrel of the forces gun and not on people's faith in the system is not peace but enforced calm of subjugation which completely depends on instilling fear and terror by the occupier among the occupied and that is what is being practiced in Kashmir .

So basically what is being conveyed to people of Kashmir is that AFSPA and such laws will stay till Kashmiris keep demanding justice and political resolution of their disputed status and that and they will keep getting neutralized so that "peace and normalcy" is restored and Ms Mufti and her masters in New Delhi can control and rule over the occupied territory of Kashmir even if the entire population of the land has to be wiped out.

The joint statement said observing the anniversaries of these people every year not only reminds people of the atrocities carried by the Indian forces but also gives people the strength and makes them more determined to carry forward the resistance movement to its logical conclusion and make the mission of these martyrs a national mission and mission for every Muslim.

The statement said in connection with the anniversaries, programmes would be held on January 21 at Gaw Kadal, January 25 at Handwara, and January 27 at Kupwara in which tributes would be paid.

The joint statement said on January 21, Gaw Kadal and its adjacent areas would observe a complete shutdown, while on January 25, Handwara and on January 27 Kupwara would witness a complete shutdown.
